Advantages of being small
This fall, 21-year-old Sarah Hooley has taken a break from academic study and has split her time doing an internship with the Kansas Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution and as a participant in the Ministry Inquiry Program at First Mennonite Church in Newton, Kan.
Sarah has a heart for churches and a desire to help them improve their ministry. What follows is some of her perspective on small churches from her experience in her home congregation, Filer (Idaho) Mennonite Church.
